Years ago when a young priestess had given birth to a small child, a daughter, the young baby girl was ill and dying, In order to save her baby she had sent out soldiers to find a special jewel fragment and had it placed into the child's body so she could live. As the years went on her daughter had grown and was very healthy child indeed but one night a demon had attacked the village looking for the jewel fragment, as the priestess of the village it was her job to protect her people and her family, the priestess and her husband battled the evil demon but as a price the priestess had lost her eyes and her husband that very night. The Years went on and she had began to train her daughter to become a priestess, Sumi was going to be next in line as protector of the village and live down her mother's title but sadly Sumi never wanted that kind of life she was so young and full of youth her eyes were set on another adventure, She wanted to explore the world she wanted to go on adventures and fight demons also become stronger too. But with her mother in such a weak state sumi agreed to do the training although she sometimes skip out since she was a trouble maker.
Carrying such a heavy weight of responsibility and pressure, Sumi felt alone, she had no friends or anyone really to talk to except her teacher, Nagastu. Nagastu was the only friend she really could even call close to other than the dog she save name Momo. Sumi didn't want to become the next priestess she wanted a life of her own, she wanted friends she wanted so many things but do to her duties and blood lines it was hard. With a village looking down at her exspecting so much from a young child caused her to become abit rebellious since she didn't like following the rules and to be pressured.

Sumi is very out going and also speaks her mind not afraid of many out comes really since she use to being bullied and getting into fights. She can be respectful and be kind aswell when she knows it the right time to be, she has a tomboy like attitude so don' t think if your getting away with pissing her off, she knows some magic and wont be afraid to get you back.

Sumi can use a sword or bow which ever she has closet-est will be the weapon she uses since she was taught by her father before the demon had killed him off. She knows some magic thanks to her mother and Nagastu.
